My workshops will help you understand your camera and its functions but i hope they will also improve your whole approach to photography, sharpening your eye for light and composition, helping you to visualise a subject and create that Photograph. My workshops are open to photographers of all levels. You may want to learn the basics or perhaps know it all already but would like some productive photography sessions, or perhaps your confidence needs building... For whatever reason i will strive to make your workshop work for you. Spaces are limited, maximum of 5 places unless stated otherwise, and i will be spending plenty time individually with each participant. Click here to see a list of necessary equipment.
On location i will give you any technical help or advice you may need. I will help you compose your ideas into photographs and demonstrate certain techniques for you which we will develop later with photoshop.
In the 'classroom' we will choose a few photos from each participant to develop on a projection screen. I will lead a constructive critical discussion on each photograph, giving you the means to improve on the next session.
My workshops are run in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with the emphasis on progression for all.
N°1: The altitude lakes of the Queyras
5 days photographing the stunning mountain lakes in the Queyras alpine nature park. Between 1800m and 2700m altitude in fabulous surroundings these little lakes offer us a world of colour, light and reflections.

If you are travelling by train we can fetch you from the nearby station at Montdauphin.
You won't need a vehicle during the workshop, all transport is included.

6 days on the remarkable isle of Skye. Isle of light and isle of dark... The famous Cuillins rise up from the sea in a misty and wild oceanic atmosphere. An exceptional location for the landscape photographer.
